hi guys,I'm trying to optimize my site and i got a question , I use the plugin redirection in my site to do a redirect from the homepage to another page (mysite.com/catgory/keyword)I didn't do that because i think its better for my site I did it because I have to , but my question if this is hurting my on page SEO site?and what happen to all the backlinks who go to the homepage they still counting or not because the redirection ?
Links will still count, however, such pattern is malformed. I mean, your homepage should be the highest in the website hierarchy and should be the most powerful page.
