Advise please... i had a business which i stopped, the website for it was PR2 with a hundred or so links on a 2 year old domain. I started a new business that is unrelated on new domain, now 6 months old.

Should i redirect old to new domain? Would i get the benefit of the age and any links? Basically will it benefit my new site by doing it? Thanks

A 301 redirect will pass all PR, benefit from backlinks etc.
Your new site may not benefit as much as if it were related (not even sure of that), but it will still benefit. And anyway by no chance it could harm your new site.

So you have nothing to loose and everything to win by doing so :)

I have also wondered about this because I wanted to see if buying unrelated high pr aged domains would help my rankings.
