Hello,

This is what I'm doing in attempt to hide the referrer:

1) I have a blog that has been advertised as a warez site for a specific file
2) On that warez blog I have a download button for the file
3) That download button redirects to a legit blog (non warez) that is locked by a widget
4) After they fill out the offer, the file they want is downloaded.

Will this minimize the chances I have of getting banned from my cpa site or do I need to take further actions?

Thanks,
Ducky

I think you'd be fine. You even seem to take it one step further than you really needed to though. If you downloaded CPA Redirector 2 you can put the widget on the warez site itself, that way you don't have to direct people to another site more than once.

Hell, I am doing that with 2 networks already and I don't even had it hidden. It's out in the open. Even with a network that I can't talk about here, but it's popular for some reason, I got approved for their premium surveys when my methods clearly don't follow the ToS.

Yeah you should be fine mate, if you want some extra security, use hide refer!

Then you'll be bullet proof!

I actually kinda like taking this extra step, it may cut down on conversions but to my understanding since they are actually getting the locked content for the redirect x2 to a non warez site, it's perfectly legal as car is CPA agreement is concerned.

Will do if I go the other route. I don't see a reason to hide this if I'm using a legal page to host my files content on.

I suppose I could be misinterpreting the ToS - I'm using CPAL**D right now as well as a few others, but cpal**d is the main one as far as using widgets go.

Thanks,
ducky
