Has anyone here every used a 302 redirect for long term?

We was thinking about 302 redirecting a bunch of sites into one page. I can't remember, but does the title and description stick with it's current domain. Or does it use the sites we are 302 into?

why do you want to use a 302 and not a 301?

I was always under the impression that a 301 was to be used for permanent redirects whereas a 302 was more "temporary". I would think you would want to use a 301 if it is more long term.

302 will not get you anywhere in regards of SEO.
    301 is the key here.
