I am not new to adwords, but am new to cpa with adwords.

If I understand this right, you can't use your hxxp://affiliateurl.com/blablablaaffiliatecodeintheurl in your adwords. Cos if you do, the displayurl should be affiliateurl.com

So I came up with a bright idea of creating a sub domain and redirecting the subdomain in my cpanel to the affiliate url.

I created ads the adwords disapproved the ads saying that the display url should be the destination url.

How do I work around this problem? I hate to create landing pages, i'd rather drive traffic to the affiliate's lander directly.

Would appericiate suggestions.

Thanks

I think you can use a redirect, but it has to be in the Display, and the Destination URL. Last time I tried this it worked.

I've tried several different redirection methods, none of which have worked. Basically, Google goes through each and every redirect you have on your page and compares the very last URL it sees to the one you've used within your ad.

The only solution I can think of is pointing the ad to a webpage with actual content and no redirects at first, getting it approved and once it is, redirecting the page. This, however, may easily qualify as breaking Adword TOS and get your account banned ...

That wont work. Google is checking every link every week or so. So it would find your redirect...

How about a frame?

Greetings!

The display URL is what google looks at for your QS. You set your redirects/other links on the keyword level, this is to include things like the {keyword} function to pass off in your links. Not 100% that the base domain needs to match the display url, but its probably a good idea to do so.

Just have someone on this forum make you a nice landing page.
xplicit is good, and very reasonable!

Why are you wanting to redirect the traffic? Im just not sure why you would do this unless you are tracking it. Is that the reason?

aylos67 or lyserg

Can anyone of you share with us the iframe code you use.

I could able to create iframe, but i couldn't able to match the height of the actual content with the iframe.
