    Hi,

I have a few unused websites, created few years ago, (warez, autoblog, coupon sites), currently not running any ads thus no revenue generated from these sites.

I'm wondering if I can direct traffic of these sites to the new website where the niche is quite general and can be adapted by traffic from these unused websites.

    Question is:
    1. Should i do this and can i do this?
    2. Is the concept similar to domain parking?
    3. Will I get penalty from Google for bad neighbor or bad traffic source?
    4. Rather than 301 redirect? Is that possible to remain all the content of my old websites in search engine database, but still transfer the traffic to the new site?
    5. If I perform step4, any SEO impact for my old websites and new websites?

    Thank you for your advise.

    Regards,
    KC

What you want to do is redirect the visitor and fake the referer. A little cookie manipulation and you can make Google Analytics report what you want. With the right execution, you can even sell that traffic (CPM based or w.e.). An idea if you got a lot of unique traffic is redirecting the traffic to a site that pays based on cpm. With this set in place, you can make money passively without the worry of seo or penalties. I have not been penalized when doing this, but then again I don't use Adsense for this.

    That's for the idea.
I have not implement any ads on the new website.
I have confident to convert these unique visitors to become long term readers.
If this is the case, do you think I still need to fake the referer etc?
The idea is kind of similar to stevejohns work.

Do you mind if I PM you for more details on selling these traffic as CPM?
    Thank you.
