Hey, I have a domain that's under a lot of heat. And I was wondering if I forward my domain to a new one when I'm sitting in first on google. Will that effect my ranking? Content will stay the same, just need to disguise the url from the traffic coming to the site.

Can someone explain to me how this works please.

Hmmm... It might be flagged for duplicate content. Also, not all the link juice to the old domain gets passed.
