Try 301 redirect, 301 redirect is the most professional and SEO Friendly method for webpage redirection. The code "301" is interpreted as "moved permanently",301 redirect on the pages you permanently moved, your visitors the better user-experience of your website.

sounds great, thanks all, but if tracking where the traffic comes from, will it come from the first page or will it come from the direct direct? if i redirect it 3 times, will it track the second or the first?
