I've searched and I cannot find the answer to this. If I take a domain that's a misspelling of let's say Walmart or Amazon and then redirect the traffic to a website that I want to increase traffic for, will that have any negative consequences? It will have a high bounce rate bc the user will leave as soon as they end up at the wrong site.

I'm making a couple assumptions here:

    1. that increased type-in traffic will increase my SEO
    2. that redirect traffic will increase my SEO

    Are those assumptions wrong?

Also, I was thinking of using a couple domains that I currently have parked with bodis. I can tell that they def get a fair amount of traffic each month. Also, if this were to work, would using a previously parked domain hurt the SEO of the page I'm redirecting to? What about if it's a misspelled adult site?
