Reddit plans to release cryptocurrency backed by shares of Reddit

    This is big news. Reddit just raised $50 million, and the investors have agreed to distribute 10% of that back to the Reddit community. The way they're going to do that is to release a new cryptocurrency exchangeable for shares of Reddit. They will distribute this to the Reddit community based on "some reasonably fair way that reflects the contributions of community". This will not be based on Karma.     Surprised this hasn't had more upvotes....I mean comments. This shit is interesting, to be fair I think this could be a pretty big fucking deal, I wouldn't mind getting hold of some Reddit Coins at IPO if they're cheap enough (or if i have enough karma)
