So hey, i have a small subreddit NSFW
Its around 8.6k users, each post gets about 2k views.
People are posting on autopilot and sub is growing.

I decided to start to monetize it, offering like banner space and highlight place.

Is it even worth it?
Its like 3 weeks and i have no leads.

Also, is there any worth to sub this size?
If i decide to sell it, should i sell it with my acc or i could sell like admin rights or something like that?

Reddit will ban subreddits that monetize, so you need to do it secretly. Talk with potential advertisers/affiliate programs/lead gen offline. Don't mention anything within the reddit system.

Subreddit value varies greatly. Depends on topic matter & potential profit margin. Crypto & OF related stuff is easy to monetize for big profits. Subreddits on free garden seed exchange or DIY clothing repair are not so great for potential monetization. 8k members for a subreddit about private jet chartering is very valuable. 800k members in a freekarma subreddit is not very valuable.

If you do sell it, add the other person as a moderator and then you remove yourself from the mod team. That looks more natural.

it does not look natural at all.. try that on a larger subreddit you will get banned within a day.

If it NSFW , and its growing organically, its totally worth it.

Start collaborating with OF models , who have good content in place and start taking your cut.

You have rights to decide.

You can sell the account as well along with subreddit, as people call that OG account.
Or you can either transfer the subreddit to the buyer , and Grant them all rights and later on they would remove your out.

Hope it helps.

best to let someone shill in that sub and pay you. What is the niche of NSFW

Create another reddit account and post your links you want to promote there. Then approve the post as the mod.

Thanks.

Might have any idea how much the acc itslef would be worth?
Acc is like 10 yrs old.
And + that sub with 8k members

Monetizing a smaller subreddit can be tough, especially in the NSFW space since there’s so much competition. Offering banner space and pinned posts is a good start, but you might need to actively reach out to creators or businesses who’d be interested. Waiting for leads to come to you usually doesn’t work well for smaller subs.
If you decide to sell, it’s better to transfer just the mod rights instead of your whole account, that way, your personal account stays safe. Subs with steady growth definitely have value, but it might be worth focusing on growing it a bit more to make it more appealing to buyers.

Is it possible to add Amazon affiliate links in the pinned post on a subreddit or will it lead to a suspension?
