After a few months of being on this site I can most of the time tell when I smell bullshit on a social media article, this one takes the cake for best article I have seen. The article says that anybody who has drank Redbull in the last few years can get a 10 dollar settlement as long as they fill out this form, (CPA Offer) at least that is what I am guessing. This article has like 5 million views or something and I cant help but think somebody is set this up and is making some major bank.

    Thoughts?

That just seems ridiculous that that would get approved..because it didn't give you wings? Besides what if 10 years down the road it does make you grow wings and it just took a long time.Does everyone have to pay them back?

How exactly does a person prove they drank a Red Bull in the past 10 years? Might as well sue Petco while we're at it because it's not where the pets go.

By creating a system to get Redbull to send him 400 or more coupons and creating a thread here or an ecommerce site. I am sure there are more intricate than what I said. It is possible though.

From what i heard Red Bull could have fought back but instead they took the less time consuming and less media attention route and chose to settle.

When I looked at the form, it appeared that I can only enter a US-based address when filling it out. So does that mean that those who were drinking Red Bull elsewhere in the world will not get anything? No wings (in 10 or whatever years) and no $10 either? I'm disappointed.

Edit: By the way, there's a cap: http://time.com/money/3484564/red-bull-settlement-ruined/

Which is the clever way for them to do it. A lawsuit like that would take them years to handle in courts, so it's easier (and possibly even cheaper) to settle.

And I agree with W130SN here... The guy suing Red Bull... Genius or retard, I don't know. But a rich one at that if all goes his way.

Edit: @SharkServers "The offer of $10 back only applies to customers in the U.S." A damn shame, wouldn't have minded that 10$, though I could have accepted a four-pack of Red Bull as well. Might have to bring up a lawsuit of my own.

And by the way, the reason for this being only paid back to US consumers, is that
no other court in the world would rule against Red Bull.

Losing that lawsuit is worth much more in attention than what it will cost them in free drinks and the little cash they send out. I would think that 90% of the people opt for the Red Bull instead of the cash and I'm probably low on that guess.

Outstanding publicity move any way you look at it from my point of view.
