TL;DR? Free Tumblr Traffic > Personal Website > RedBubble Sales Fiverr Clicks > Personal Website > Adsense Revenue Fiverr Seller Account > Gig Revenue Hello all! Just a warning, this will be a very long one? I talk a lot, as you?ll see, and have been on this journey for 3 months so I?ve got a lot of back story and data to share. Personally, I get annoyed when someone posts a journey thread and they barely give any details, maybe that?s what I?m supposed to do ? but I always felt like more is always better. I am 27 years old, married with 4 children (I know!) and have a great 9-5 career. IM has always been a passion for the challenge, fun, excitement of a sale and basically look at is as cash to reinvest or have some fun with. For instance when I want to buy something for myself I justify it to my wife by saying things like ?It?s website money.? I?ve been a member of BHW since June, as a previous account (too many email accounts, can?t find which one I signed up with originally and what password I used) and since November with this one. I?ve been a lurker for a bit longer than that, and only setup an account to make another post (you can search Typhoonicano for my other long winded method post) to get some ideas with what I was working on. Unfortunately shortly after that I lost my account information and had to abandon the IM world for a little to focus on other things. In November I had some free time (laid off) and started digging into the IM world again. Since then I have been using or have acquired the following income sources and tools. In Green/Black are the figures I?ve been paid and earned but not paid yet. For the tools, the red is the amount I have paid for them. Income RedBubble Artist Account with 18 designs active ($211.85/$253.44) ShareaSale (Specifically, RedBubble Affiliates) ($0.00/$3.12) Adsense ($121.67/$261.74) Amazon Associates ($0.00/$0.00) Fiverr ($0.00/$16.00) Totals ($333.52/$518.30) Tools Picloadr Premium (-$10.00/4mo) TumblingJazz (-$70.00) Autoblogging .com (-$12.00/yr) Personal .com (-$12.00/yr) Fiverr - (-$105.00) [this number dates back to a year or so before even using this service for IM, just don't feel like totaling how much of this was actually IM... I'd say maybe $50] Bulk Download Images ZIG (free) Googleimageripper .com (free) Total (-$209) The method I?ve been using has come from reading and watching a lot of journeys and methods out there, it may not be getting me rich ? but up to this point it?s been relatively passive and easy enough. I also believe it?s relatively scalable, I just want to come up with the best method/idea to scale before I do it. Some parts are whitehat, some not so much (and I know I will be advised against doing them). My goal is to spend $0 more on any product or service, with the exception of the fiverr gigs that I use ($10 a month) I?ve created a few products on Redbubble in a niche aimed at the late teen early adult sort of market. I created a collection of them and linked to one another in the descriptions. I then post on my adsense enabled autoblog .com a post with the photos/links to the products and a quick description of each one of them, nothing too intense. From there I downloaded ~300 photos related to the niche, so if the product was a design about Tony Hawk, I would download 300 photos of Tony Hawk tricks, other skateboarders, etc and queue those onto a Tumblr account using Picloadr with relevant tags. Along with the tags, there would be a brief description ?Check out some awesome Tony Hawk related shirts here!? as well as creating the click-through-link on the image to also direct to the website post mentioned above. For bulk image downloading the combination of the two free tools (chrome extension and website) make it so you can easily search for a term, ?load more images? until you have loaded ~300, and then click on an image to make it fullsize and if you use the extension it will download the 300 images all full sized. Each Tumblr account is setup to post every 30 minutes, 24/7. The max queue for a Tumblr account is 300 at a time. The idea of this setup is to put your links out there to be searchable through popular/niche tags and allow for discovery from other Tumblr users. Once those users reblog/like it becomes higher up on the searches for those tags, and ultimately gets your link more exposure. Obviously the more dedicated of a niche, and the more compelling the image content is, the better activity it will get. On average my posts range from 5-55 notes in their life cycle, considering there are posts going every 30 minutes on each blog I do, it adds up to some relatively decent traffic/followers on my blogs. To date I have received 189 individual product sales at a 10% markup on the items. It?s not much, at an average of only $2 per sale (a lot of those individual products were stickers, which is a $.10 margin, in case you?re keeping track), but I pretty consistently have gotten a sale per day, with the holiday season bringing in 5-7 per day for a couple of weeks. Redbubble also organizes all of the items by tags in order of most popular (most sold). One of my designs in particular has done very well, rising from 500[SUP]th[/SUP] to 10[SUP]th[/SUP] for the particular search terms and the organic traffic actually pulled ahead of the Tumblr traffic to the point for the past 4 weeks I haven?t run any campaigns on Tumblr, yet have still had sales each day. RedBubble allows you to ?update product image? and information anytime you want, so I have since switched this image/niche for a completely different niche and keywords, but with the previous sales from the other design I was able to leapfrog a lot of competition and land on page one for the new niche design. Along with this, as a supplemental albeit most likely short term source of income, I also use a particular Fiverr gig to receive a few clicks a day on the ads found on my website (which has the Tumblr traffic filtering through). I have been paid for a months worth of that, but I do understand that it will most likely get shut down. It is nice, though, in the interim to have a little additional for a service I don?t actually really use otherwise. A couple of days ago I also opened up a Fiverr gig service providing two services (one of which is the method I used before, with music). My gigs are relatively easy to complete, and another way to potentially add a few dollars in earnings every month. I have already gotten a few orders for those, so it?s at least off to a good start ? hopefully So what are my goals? I think I?m off to a decent start. Right now I make about $10 a day from diversified sources, though when Adsense blows up I will lose a decent bit of that. I would love to set a goal of $50 or more a day, but I don?t think that is reasonable. I?d like to start by getting $10 a day with only RedBubble. I have yet to use TumblingJazz for my campaigns, but believe with a large portfolio of items/the affiliate account (which also provides 10% margin off sales, and you get a super long cookie ? downside is you don?t get the residual passive income from your products ranking and word of mouth) things could definitely scale up. My goals for the weekend: Setup TumblingJazz Finally Create 5 New Products Create Image Blast Campaigns for those 5 Products I will report back on Monday with my progress on those goals, and total revenues for the weekend Any hints, tips, suggestions, questions would be awesome. The only reason I?m doing this as a journey and not just continuing to do what I have been is to share ideas with one another, and to perfect our craft.
