I would like to record a small video for mys sales page using camtasia.

I would appreciate any recommendations on which microphone to use that works with camtasia, nothing to expensive it possible or if any microphone would work..From Radio shack, walmart, etc.

I also have an expensive microphone which was used for singing that has the large plug on it that plugs into the back of a stereo, would this work with a differnent plug...

    Thanks
    B.

I have an old (but expensive) shotgun mike that I use. It has the large 3 prong plug. I have the mike go directly to a small (inexpensive) mixer EuroRack UB802. From there I simply take the output (plus an adapter) and feed it to my computer audio in... Works great plus have some control of gain/bass/treble.
