I need some kind of a mind mapping software where I will be able to map out my mind and the things that float about.

I really like the way bubbl.us feels, and I'm looking for those sort of boxes and somewhat of a similar nice and easy drag and drop user interface.

I just want something a little more advanced, not too confusing, but something which won't disappear in a year or two.

Otherwise I will have to settle for bubbl.us which seems somewhat limited.

I do mindmapping stuff as well. But I rely on desktop apps for that task. I have 2. Blumind (freeware) and the feature-heavy Mindjet (costed me a bit).

Edited: I'm sorry, I just realized that you're looking for something a little better that what I just suggested. For some reason I missed that part of your post when I read it the first time.

If you have anything that's Apple, MindMeister is a good one. It's free also. I'm thinking that they may have a regular web version of this also, but I'm not 100% sure. It's cool to see that someone else uses MindMapping. I can remember drawing out my maps with crayons back in the day before it got real popular lol. Those things really make life easier, especially if you're learning something new.

Really helps me organize my thoughts, especially when I'm brainstorming a concept/new project.
