A smartphone that is good for IM-ing.

Right now, I'm still using Sony Ericcson K618i. Yeah, been using it for years and I believe it's time to change soon. Thinking of Smartphone for IM though.

    Any recommendations? :p

I have a Iphone but a Droid or HTC on any carrier is best for IMing hands down.

Or if you want to step you game up, get a Nokia N900 like "GreenPickle"

iPhone wins hands down. I love mine so much and have really enjoyed using it, I'd be lost without it. It's a major reason why i switched from PC to a Macbook Pro.

    iPhone 3GS
    Motorola Droid
    HTC Hero
    Nokia N900

I would buy one of those (I'm stuck with Nokia N95-2 it's alright but browsing without touchscreen is a pain in the ass)

if you like to get shit DONE and get it DONE fast with little to no spelling errors, im talking about driving while texting, emailing while driving, all without having to look at your phone because you have a touchscreen. than you will need to get a blackberry with a full REAL qwerty keyboard. i have had the iphone But i always, always end up back to blackberry because i just get ish done much faster and more professionally. anything else is just a toy. Touchscreen can never replace a real Qwerty keyboard, and those sliding keyboard phones are just sloppy IMO, difficult to type on them with one hand. iphone is fun for a few weeks then it just becomes painful to use.
