Reciprocal Backlink Equality

Quick question to all the experts..

We know that a one-way link is better than reciprocating links but what about reciprocating links with one of those links being a nofollow?

Would that equate to a reciprocating link or would that be seen as a one-way link?

from my understanding any form of reciprocal link is a no go for boosting serps. hope this helps
