    Hello,

Been trying to find more reliable info on this situation but can't seem to find anything that is 100%. Maybe it's because eBay goes on a case by case basis on each account. The story goes is that I received a few violations over the past year of varying severeness. This is a pre 2000 account with no limits so I like to keep this and best I can nurture it back to normal status if possible. I received a few violations last year, around 2-3 and one being VERO. This past year I sold some things that ended up costing me more headaches. I received two more trademark violations this year which each respectively cost me a 7 day then 30 day suspension. The final blow was one more warning that was also a trademark but unsure if it was Vero, but it could be. This led me to a one year suspension. A few days after, I called up eBay and some rep in their VERO dept there felt sorry for me and reinstated my account. Also, this latest Vero which led me to the 1 year was removed. I noticed this past week that most of my listings are now at the bottom of best match and its been this way since my account was returned to me. My account right now also has this 90 day money hold for all transactions until the item has been proved delivered. I have read a few threads on people who received violations (VERO) and they tend to have this punishment for anywhere from 25-90 days but none have a situation where an account comes back from a suspension. Should I just lay low for the time being or should I just try to continue to sell low end items and build up a sales history. I'm just concerned that past 90 days I'll still be stuck in this since eBay won't give you a straight answer. A rep in the suspension department told me 90 days and I might be better in my search standing depending on my sales from now and until the 90 days but I don't trust his information.

IMO, you are about two seconds from a permanent ban. I would stop selling ALL brand name items at least for a year, maybe forever. Once you're this close to getting the permanent ban hammer, eBay will have a very long memory.

They tend to be more forgiving on aged accounts, but it sounds like you're towing the line. Being purposely obtuse isn't going to get you anywhere. You know what you're doing, so unless you want to lose the account, just stop doing it.

Create more accounts, let this one cool off before listing straight away otherwise this account will be toast

You can sell any time you want. The chances are though the next time you sell anything VERO or get flagged by a competitor or a customer, you will be permanently banned. This account is too valuable to lose it dude. Stop putting it at risk.

Maybe some people here got the wrong intention that I will continue to sell high risk or VERO items. I stopped selling the items that got me in trouble, obviously I figured that out. I got rid of that stuff awhile ago. I am just wondering about selling just generic items or filler items until my account cools off.

Since you're already got the 30 day ban, I'm guessing there will be no "cooling off" because next time you fart too loud, eBay will ban you...today, tomorrow, or a year from now. As I said before you can make money selling non-risk items, so if I were you I would never plan on listing anything with risk, ever.

Well, you did say in your original post that you got 2-3 VERO violations, so it makes sense that someone would say "hey, maybe you should get the hint." And then you received 2 more trademark violations. It seems to me either you're trying to test the waters (and failing) or want some answer that supports what you're doing. You're playing with fire basically and the answer is to quit it or lose the account.

I'm not saying people make mistakes. I got caught shill bidding when I was a lot younger. It was stupid, but when I got the warning, I was smart enough to take the hint and never do it again. You've been caught at least a half dozen times and at this point, ebay is really giving you a lot more slack than they would other people.
