Anyone have experience with setting up their business to receive money anonymously? Here's what my research has come up with and i'd like to make this thread as informative as possible on how to receive money anonymously. There are many reasons for a business or person to want to be anonymous so leave the negative replies at the door.
Payment via credit card require a payment processor. This can be a third party processor like Plimus, Google Checkout, Paypal, etc. or it you can open up a Merchant Bank account and use a payment Gateway like Authorize.net or Verisign. A 3rd party processor seems like the way to go as merchant bank accounts require a lot of information about your business and other factors that make them a bad choice. So then it's a matter of finding the best 3rd party processor for anonymity. Google Checkout requires a Tax ID/SSN to transfer the funds to your bank account and they do not mail checks. Paypal requires a Tax ID/SSN for withdrawing more than $500 a month to your bank, that includes checks.
Receiving payment via Bank Transfer
You can setup a http://www.offshorelegal.org/bearer-share-corporation.htmlwhich is the most anonymous bank account you can get in the world - many US corporations have offshore bearer share accounts like Walmart. Withdrawing the money is also equally anonymous as far as i know. Buyers can make a payment via Western Union (please name any other ways).
Receiving money by mail, such as checks or money order
Well there's anonymous PO boxes that buyers could mail to, but wouldn't it look a little strange cashing large amounts of money orders or money grams with your bank or walmart?
There is also currencies like e-gold and Liberty Reserve, but they are hard to send money with as the sender has to buy the currency first from an exchanger service. It's confusing to 90% of buyers and plainly a pain in the ass. I also heard that e-gold is now requiring Tax information as of September this year.
