Hi everyone, I made a League of Legends themed site and I`m getting at least 1000 users a day, yet I`m only earning around half a dollar per day with adsense. Should I try something else? Things like adfly ? Any ideas that you could share with me?

Yes, go ahead, try to put ads and sell some other affiliate links. Moreover, put some efforts to increase the figure of unique visits in your website.

    To Conclude,

Gaming niche isn't popular way of monetizing traffic due to its nature. Unless OP chooses to turn into a profit zone by tweaking his brain juices a little bit more ... just a little bit more ...

Ahhhhh, I just throw hints --> write game reviews while introduce LOL etc ...

    You get it right?

    Best Regards,
    Commoner

Gaming related niches are were the money is BUT i wouldn't being using Adense. Sign up to a few CPA/PPD networks and monetize that way.

Half a dollar a day is pretty good. :p My site gets around 500 (unique) views per day and I only make like a dollar a week on adsense.

But then again, I have my ad on the bottom of the page so no one sees it.

Suggestion: move your ad somewhere visible in which users are more likely to click it.

couple of quick suggestions: try optimising your adsense placement. search around, you will find good tips about what works here on BHW. and second: split test with some related CPA offers. email submits could work, PPD could work. You wont know unless you test a few different things. But, yeah 0.50 is a very low CPM, especially if the traffic is organic search traffic. fwiw.

If most of your traffic is from higher paying countries (US, UK, etc) then those numbers are a bit low. What works best in my experience is placing 1 or 2 rectangle ads in the middle of your content. So for example you'd have the first paragraph, then your ads, then the rest of your content.

And make sure you aren't overlooking anything basic. Have the ads above the fold and make sure the ads don't seem out of place on your site (if you're using the default ad style your website's background should be white and your link colors should match the adsense link color #0000FF, alternatively change the ad style to match your site's design).

If you have a gaming blog, you can always try and reach out to companies with gaming gear and ask them to be partners or sponsors. I've seen it done on twitch and maybe it can be applied on your gaming website too.
