    Stumbled upon this tool

    http://www.reverseinternet.com

looks great for spying on competitors, but it makes it so easy for someone else to get info about you

It associated a couple of my sites that I thought were pretty clean

there are lots of these types of tools, the seoquake plugin for firefox pretty much does all of that.

Plugins are different - only seo people use seo plugins. A website is more dangerous. Any forum/blog/wiki owner with a superiority complex and an axe to grind can get too m uch info too easily

Someone should take it down with a DDOS attack or something.

    anyone?

That is a bit of an overreaction. Anybody smart enough to find this and know what the data means would be smart enough to know how to use a plugin as well.

On that topic, what are the plugins you guys prefer? I use seoquake as well, but I hear there's a LOT of others.

This is actually the first time I've heard of services like this. I just installed the seoQuake add-on on google chrome and it's pretty decent at how much info I can find on the site. Pretty interesting.

Google knows a lot more so if you worry about that tool... you should rather worry about Google and stop leaving footprints like that.

How could you possibly not leave a footprint that quake could notice? Am I missing something?
