OK i purchased this site 6 weeks ago it had no target as far as keywords and mild traffic. Since then i went on fiver and bought a seo report from this fella and he pointed me in the right direction now i have keywords and finally madie it to page 16 google i was excited to finally see my site on the board.

I started doing some backlinks and even some .edu and .gov sites to boot! now the site hit page 11 after a few days woohoo so i am really pumped so now i get this guy to fix my test site so i can play around with things and the site goes to page 48 WTF!! i disable that site and next day back to page 11 Whew!! Now i have been chacking the site every few hours on google and i can't see it at all except when i type the keywords in quotes which show up on page 1. I checked the rank and google gave a page rank 100 what does this mean. I'm above the board on everything! I am targeting the 5th position on google as that guy has less backlinks and they aren't even targeted backlinks.

Could quite easily just be google dance. It happens a lot, sites bounce around all the time.

I would guess going by what was probably in the seo report the guy who made the changes probably made too many at once.. I would change one thing at a time and keep an eye on the site.. like that you will know where the problem lies, if there is a problem. It may just be the google dance or he has made a mistake somewhere. Dont keep making constant changes or you will not know what is going on.

Probably dancing, keep building backlinks consistently. Try to vary your link building as well, get as many different sources. Consistency is the key.

Yes...........the Google Dance. They key to optimizing for SEO is to make small changes at a time and get into the mindset of keeping everything looking natural not contrived. Google picks up on "contrived" quickly.

I Havent noticed sudden changes as such., like in a few hrs or so . when in 2-3 days you should see a change. its depends if you have made any changes to your robot file for calling the google crawler to crawl your site.
Normally if you make any changes to the html files it re crawls and brings changes.

So my next step is to get lots af articles written not spun as i heard it's a waste of time. Question is how many articles to publish? If i publish a lot of the samea rticle will G penalize me for duplicate content or is that just if you copy somebody elses?

Who said spinning was a waste of time? If you do it right then its really valuable. I always spin articles i write then have them submitted to about 500 directories.

So Eddy your saying that if you spin them right and make sure they pass copyscape then it owuld be more worthwhile in the long run.
