Recently I've seen too many threads such as "help me please!" or "i've tried everything" or still "is it possible to make $10/day", and seen way to many replies to "earn $0.50 in 2 min".. This thread has 3 objectives: 1. alleviate inexperienced people's frustration 2. motivate them and of course 3. big thanks BHW who has played a big part in the development of my activity Now I'm going to give out the real secret to internet success.. well, at least in my experience. I can't boast too much, I'm still far from my final targets and real success but I'm on the road and have got the ball rolling. Now, to the interesting part: WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE REALLY SUCCESSFUL IN ONLINE BUSINESS? Here is, in my experience, what I have had to do to start making decent money online: 1. Be patient, cos real money takes time to roll in: its gonna take some time, especially if you are a noob, to start making decent money. I consider decent money to be at least $300 a month, which is like $10/day. Personally, when I started my venture, I worked 5-6 hours a day on it for 3 months before getting my first money. 2. You will have to work hard: IM has become victim of a myth that it is for lazy people. To be honest, and I think most people making money on this forum will agree, if you're lazy, you won't make it. Again, I had to work freakin ages to set everything up, because I didn't want to launch a half-a$$ed business which would fail and have wasted my time but I took my time and I stuck to my schedule. I worked my ass off (and continue to) until everything was perfect, then launched. 3. Think like an entrepreneur, not like an employee: This is especially from that thread like "earn $0.50 for a 2 minute job".. come on, if you want to make it in life, you've got to aim higher than that. Aim high, develop an idea, and implement it, and be original. No one is going to give away all their profit to you for simple little jobs. Think like entrepreneur, not an employee. 4. Invest money. If you don't have money, invest time: Time is your most valuable and powerful asset. If you can invest money to save time, outsource, etc.. do it. If not, then you will have to invest a lot of time, which is also OK. Just do it. Don't whine after 3 days of not making a clickbank sale. Give it time. If you think you're not doing it right, analyse why and correct your method. 5. Set yourself targets and deadlines: If you want to make real progress on big projects, you have to set yourself targets like 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. If you hit those targets, think about whether you set too easy targets. If you missed them, analyse why and set new ones again. Business is all about forecasting and looking ahead. 6. Analyse your strengths and weaknesses: Everyone has certain qualities and faults, and everywhere you have advantages and disadvantages. Maybe its the country you live in, maybe its your network of friends, maybe its your IT skills, maybe its your access to certain information. The truth is you need to understand what those are, and take advantage of them to push yourself to success. Use your strengths and weaknesses to understand which method will be most suitable for you. 7. Do something you love: You can maybe make a bit of money from some niches that you don't give a sh!t about, but you cannot mae a business out of it. Focus your business around something you love, something you're interested in, something that you can spend 16 hours a day on and won't want to commit hari-kiri. The rest is just about finding the right method and sticking to it. Scale up. Rinse, repeat. Now I want to put all this in pictures, because I know some people are more picture friendly than text friendly, and also because I think it can help some people to understand that i've been where they are, working hard and not making money, but that in the end it did pay off. (ps: idk the pics I attach are so small everytime) Here is the traffic from my main money site since I started (I started my venture in December 2011): Here is what my last 2 days of orders look like: And here is my lifetime sales value (this isn't net profit, but my net profit is not too bad): Now, I followed exactly the 7 points stated above. I worked my ass off and it's starting to pay off. There's still plenty of work to do, but now its time to scale up, and I'm replicating my method in 2 new areas and hiring my first staff on the 1st of January. I'd like to give a big shout out to all the people on BHW who make it a great place and who have shared their knowledge, experience and talents. Without BHW, things would have been much slower for me. So the final word is this.. I found my method, and after toiling like a m***f***, its finally paying off. To all the noobs despairing because they haven't made a few dollars yet, just keep at it. Work, analyse, work harder.. think like an entrepreneur. You have BHW, you don't need anything else. Now go out there and start making some real money!
