    Hello,

We reactivated old domain that is 7 year old and was completely in foreign language and now the thing is the site has changed to English-only site with all new products (over few thousands) to english only.

And I need help because google still have old url's of few thousands products in foreign language despite the fact that we added over thousands of products in english only and they are still not indexed and its already one month+ of being live. New category page's, homepage everything is indexed in english, but products are still showing in google index in foreign language and not in english and new products are not showing at all in index.

No errors in google webmaster except that 6000+ 404 pages ( but that was done on purpose ), we operate on magento if that helps.

Somebody please explain me what we have to do or what we might did wrong or is it just taking so long for google to "chew" the site changes.

    Hello boleklolek,

I understood your concern and we were also had same scenario as we launched new website with a completely new HTML structure with loads of new pages added to the sitemap with a proper URL hierarchy, till 14 days after lunch when we were checking our webmaster tools details regular it was taking OLD url's in the consideration.

For instance, HTML improvements tab its still taking few pages from the old cache inspite we have already removed manually those all the pages from the from cache to render.

We found that google is still leaning this mobile friendly algorithm and will surely take time to put everything on their right place by confirming those changes google is simply allowing everything into the consideration for not blocking any resources like javascripts, css or images from robots.. that is the reason they;re still considering old pages for their metrics.

    SOLUTION:
Updating sitemap frequently for pages content/adding new blogs will definitely benefit this changes and google will try to accomodate only new structure pages rather then old ones.. which I also experienced.. hope this helps.

Hello people Im coming back after more than a month and a half and we still face the same issue!!

I really need your help right now, because we really ran out of ideas, our sitemap is updating itself, its good we checked it multiple times, there are no errors in GWT and still some english pages are indexed(new ones) rest in foreign language is also indexed and new content doesn't seem to be getting indexed by google!!

For example we added blog to our site ( www.site.com/blog) and it was 5 days ago and yet it is not indexed!! Something is wrong it has been more than month and a half.

It looks like this; few english sites got indexed, rest in foreign language stayed ( They are no on this domain anymore for nearly 2 months ! ) and new ones are not getting indexed , no errors in GWT .

Please I really need a help on this we really don't know whats wrong? I never ever had a problem with indexing , the foreign language site's are not dropping out of index and that is what concerns me the most its been to much time it should have dropped already!
