    Hey guys,
there are tons of serious YouTuber who actually create reaction videos. It's obviously that they don't have the copyrights of the videos where they react to.

    So I'm wondering:

    - Are their specific rules to NOT get a copyright strike when I'm doing this? (Maybe the copyright video have to be less that 80% of the screen? Or you need an 20 sec intro? Or you have to cut the video every minute? I don't know...)

Do you have any experience with this sort of videos? Thanks for your advice

Make it annoying clear the video is not your content. Description and in video. Never have the full screen the copyrighted material. Try to do it in important segments. After something happens to spike a reaction. Pause it and talk about it. Only showing the important bits and not the full clip. This should keep you in the safe zone of Reactions. But it's still someone elses content. And if they claim it, they could win.

Yeah you are reaction channels are poping up a lot lately and they get away from getting copyright also I guess they follow fair usage policy. But yes they can get get claimed and removed if the original creator does files copyright on it.

I hate seeing reaction videos get more views than the person who actually made the video.

I do reaction to reaction videos. Tearing someone's lame reaction video with my reaction video is a way to double the target audience. I annoy the original video maker and the reaction video maker and have double the audience instantly.

Haha, I had the same idea yesterday. You'll get views because of the video content + the name of the big YouTuber in your title. Another idea: Download a reaction video, put it in a frame/mask and place a "stock video" above. Eg. you can take a stock video of an animal or a funny person in front of an green screen and play it in a loop. ...it's a kind of reaction. Probably not the reaction that people expect ...but a reaction. The hype for re-reaction videos is real! :D
