What are your opinions on this: Assume I purchase a theme from a big vendor like themeforest -- will the authors/themeforest know if I re-use the same theme for more than one website?

    Other Facts:
    - Websites will have noindex and nofollow to prevent search engine submission
    - I will only use them for 6-12 months then destroy them
    - Black hat tools will be used for direct traffic

Most of them are multi site themes, so you can use them on multiple sites.

Some of them are single site and you will get one license key and you can use it just once.

first, thanks for offering help, I appreciate it.

Well, I've always purchased themes with single licenses from themeforest but that doesn't stop users from re-using the themes. I guess I'm wondering: can themeforest or the author track whether the same theme is being used twice if it isn't indexed with search engines?

I think nothing wrong will happening, but just in case you can see theme tos if they really have a tracking "solution" .

If you do something really white hat like a e-commerce then grab a decent licence !

    Just my oppinion.

    OFF-topic : You pay to see movies ? :D Just sayin`
