    1) So let's say i have a webpage ranking for keyword A in top 10 of G.
    2) I change some on-page SEO factor, like say the Title
    3) Then some time goes by and I see that G updated my Title in the SERPS.

    Here's my question:

Does that mean that G has already RE-RANKED my page on keyword A, taking into the account the new Title? Or the re-caching and re-ranking happen at different times?

I would think that once you've been recached, your rank has been updated. However, I don't think the converse is true, because my rank has been updated before I was recached, in that I did heavy local optimization and jumped a page, but my cache was still not updated.

I think this is parallel to the whole "crawl vs. cache" debates.

However, maybe someone more experienced with the inner workings of G will have a more definitive answer.

I don't know all the google bots that check these things but you might just want to research google bots. My guess is that they may not be connected.
