    Hi there
I came across this website called Rankpay and they claim to do only white hat seo. The selling point for this company is that you only pay after you have been ranked. They have categories for how much you pay. If you get in the top 30-21 you only pay around $45 and as you get higher the prices increase but are still very cheap. The reviews online are very mixed and was wondering if any of you have tried it out? What kind of experience did you have?

I tested them out on 2 sites one is on first page one on second.

They are not a scam, but I found...

    1. They could inflate the position, so for example I would see my site ranked at #20 and they would say it was at #10 when they checked, hence they billed me more.

    2. If the site was already ranking before you commissioned them you still had to pay them even if there was no improvement in position!

    3. They have a "maintenance" fee, I think of 50% after the initial 6 month period, if you continue. I found that canceling this made no difference to my keyword position, it stayed the same. So don't bother with extending.

In short, they did deliver, but whatever they do you see the full results in about 3 months. After that they don't seem to do any more so ultimately I think you get results but over pay for what you get.

you won't find many people who used their services. People here usually buy from marketplace. I myself use fiverr and BHW market only. You need social proof before buying anything specially links. Those google searches are the only thing you will get.

My experience pretty much the same. I didn't see that big of improvement from what they were doing. I saw the biggest jump in ranking from my technical seo. I wouldn't use them until you've tried everything else. I found better results from posirank. (No affiliation) from what I've gathered through my experience is that good technical seo can take you a long way. Look to t0mmy's post about that.

Just looked at posirank prices and they are damn expensive. Was something like $900 for their cheapest package and that was for a site with low comp keywords.
    OK bro, no problem
What services do you use from fiverr? Are they ok? They seem very spammy and cheap

Ya I've had just really good experience with working with them. I would submit a ticket and they would spoon feed me an answer with their a suggestion for one their services.

You really just have to see how Rankpay.com works for you. They really are just a link building service. I just searched out a coupon for 100 bucks to test them out. They were great on the low comp words but didn't do much on the high comp words. I used them for local seor, but I'm also not sure if it was them that ranked my word or my on-site seo.

    Hopefully that helped.

You reckon I could use a VCC and a coupon of $100 for my site? Or will they take legal action as it is a 6 month contract

Mixed reviews is a bad sign and the 4th post in this thread outlines their bullshit pretty clear.

If a company works like that I don't want any business with them.

    That's my opinion.

One of my biggest mistakes once was working with a company that first of all used PBN's for all their link building. I know some people do well with PBN's but I don't use them anymore and #2 months into our campaign they tell me you need to pay a maintenance fee if we ever stop. A month or two after that I gladly stopped working them.

IMO never bother with campaigns that charge maintenance fees. It is the biggest load of shit. Rather do outreach and buy links from people who can get you linked from articles on real websites. No need for maintenance stuff. It can do plenty of on going work to rank but its worth it when you can enjoy the results and not owe anyone anything. Good luck.

Bullshit service. They aren't guaranteeing PAGE 1 rankings. You are going to pay them every month if they get you into the top 30 for your keyword. Anyone can get into the top 30 with just a little bit of skillz.

I went to their site and got a quote for the keyword "payday loans" ($10 CPC) and "mesothelioma lawyer"($278 CPC). Two of the most competitive keywords in existence.

Here's why this site is bullshit and a complete waste of money:

    1. If these guys were able to rank for the two keywords I searched for they would simply rank their own sites and reap the rewards. "Payday loans" and "mesothelioma lawyer" are multi million dollar keywords if you're on page 1. Nobody in their right mind is going to rank your site for those keywords for a measly $219 per month.

    2. You have to pay when you reach position #30. - If your keyword is super competitive you'll have to invest way more than $44 per month to push it all the way to page 1. You will end up stuck at #25 and keep paying these clowns $44 per month indefinitely because they aren't going to be able to get you to page 1.

    3. This site preys on the uninformed. - The tactic "only pay if you rank" is a good one because it implies there is no risk. In reality, you'll be paying this company when your keyword hits #30 but you won't be getting ANY traffic sitting on the 3rd page of the search results. There will not be any ROI.

Conclusion: Don't fall for this crap. If this company was able to rank for highly competitive keywords like "payday loans" they wouldn't be selling SEO for $44 per month. They would sitting on an island that they bought with all the money they made selling Mesothelioma cases to big law firms.
