Rankings In Google Images

Alright, I'm curious.

I've seen some blogspots who copy pictures from other sites and host them on there, some with a follow link and some with a no-follow link that rank well for Image searches.

Then I've seen some that rank well by hosting the images Via: Uploading them onto the blogger.

Does it matter which one you do? I'm just curious to see if anyone has an answer to this one.

you will wanna host the image on the same url as the page its seen on. google penalize hot linking. but that's only in 90% of the situations. i seen the opposite only the pages ten times optimized than the real host site of the image.
