    Hey!

I was ranking well, my ranks were climbing, on their way to Nr1.

Then, around August, ALL of them just dropped off the face of the earth. What seems to be the problem? Was there a major update at that time? Was I penalized?

    Who has the answers?!

Any advice, tips, answers would be greatly appreciated!

There were some changes around August. Some pretty big ones apparently, but why would that have permanently killed my ratings, since then?

There must have been a reason why. Have you been building backlinks yourself?, also some backlinks get devaluated. It happened to me not long ago that some backlinks I was building from a website made my site go to hell. I tried to remove them and disavow them through google webmasters tools but the rankings never came back so I pretty much gave up on the site. I believe this is what happened to yours but I wouldn't be able to tell without checking the backlink profile.

Penguin was around then right homey? Its hard to keep the algo update dates on track. But ya probably Penguin killed ya.

I recommend starting with a link cleanup campaign first so that your domain is in good order and you can reduce over-optimized anchor.

Did you receive unnatural link warning in google?
