There was a guy on here a while back who was making a PBN with zero links pointing at it. I didn't think much of it at the time but I just read this.

http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~chazelle/courses/BIB/pagerank.htm

Which states each new page is assigned PR

"It also means that if a page has no links to it (no backlinks) even then it will still get a small PR of 0.15 (i.e. 1 – 0.85)."

This interests me because of the level of automation that would be applied eg using the name cheap API to buy a mix of 200 TLDs at .88 dollar each.

Any thoughts or experience on this guys?

I think that article is very out dated lol. But still might be worth investigating..

this are oldies, no need to read or care too much ;)

It doesn't matter that it's old, PageRank still has the same basic mechanisms. A new site has to be compensated with some PR otherwise the whole algorithm wouldn't work.

There are obviously other factors to take into account before gaining compensation pr/trust but yeah, a fresh unspammed domain that links out to a relevant site within its niche does gain compensation by search engines as a thank you for providing a niche relevant referral, all things are created equal.

Obviously a spammed to hell domain/backlink built using SER or any other SEO tool will not get this trust or PR because they are not really coming from true relevant non-spammed sources.

You can build tiers to these new domains to amplify its power but you could easily damage its gained trust and authority that it has been given by the search engine.

Did I read PR?
