I am setting up a niche authority site, I'm using a bunch of low competition long tails with realtively decent monthly local searches. All of my money pages are inner pages with different keywords. One of my pages has reached page 3 naturally for one of its keywords with no links built to the entire site whatsoever. I'm wondering how I go about ranking my site with this set up? Here's a diagram to illustrate what I mean... Uhh, it seems like images display tiny LOL... But I think it's still viewable. The dollar signs represent money pages. Each money page has a separate keyword but the same tail. For example if the keyword was "cars", each money page would be like "red cars" "blue cars" "black cars"... Then on the opposite side, it might be "planes", and the money pages would be "red planes" "blue planes" "black planes". I'm trying to figure out a strategy to rank these pages, in a way where I will hopefully be able to survive a good number of Google updates. My home page and the rest don't have any targetable keywords... It's just the money pages. So do I set up a link building campaign for every single money page? See, I heard that Google will find it unnatural if one single page on your site begins gaining links so I'm a bit worried. Also I heard many article directories no longer work. Are there any that survived? Ezine is dead right? And now we can only ping links as tiered building is deemed black hat?
