    Hi!

I want to register domain name for a directory/listing of some service providers. I checked google for keywords and found out that the singular keyword “SERVICE PROVIDER” has much bigger amount of monthly searches than plural form with ‘s’ “SERVICE PROVIDERs”. Logically the directory domain name should have a name in plural like "serviceproviders.com" “service-providers.directory”, “serviceproviders.info”. The questions are:

    - which domain name is easier to rank in Google - a singular form with bigger amount of monthly searches or a plural form with more logic, but less monthly searches? Or it doesn't matter?
    - what is better for the purpose of listing/directory besides of .com - .info, .directory, .net, .zone, ……. ?
