Ranking For Multiple Relevant Keywords With Linkwheels!

Okay so I have a product I want to promote. I found a list of 20 good keywords in Google's keyword tool that have a varied amount of traffic (from 500-20k per month in the US). Each of these like Howie or however suggested have less than 50k results in Google when put in "parenthesis".

Now what I was going to do was build like a 6-10 property linkwheel for each keyword and then have like a seperate blogger.com blog for the center of the linkwheel. That then would be 20 blogger.com blogs and 20 linkwheels. Then each blogger.com blog would link to my product.

Now instead of doing that, do you think I should just take my products website and have a seperate page for each linkwheel center. So instead of 20 blogger.com blogs linking to my product page I have 20 pages on my product website that link to the front page (where the user can get the product).

Maybe instead of having pages or blogger.com's be the center of the linkwheels I should do something else?

In summary:
WHAT SHOULD I USE AS THE CENTER OF EACH LINKWHEEL IF I'M TRYING TO RANK FOR 20 KEYWORDS, I'M CREATING A LINKWHEEL FOR EACH OF THEM, AND THE CENTERS NEED TO POINT TO MY PRODUCT PAGE?

The thing that you've got to realize here is that, even with the affirmations of self styled gurus like this Howie Schwartz, there is no way you can know if your keywords are susceptible to web 2.0 attack until you try. There may be vague pointers - i.e. under 50,000 competition, and a front page devoid of authority sites and weak backlinks, but I have failed on several occasions when all these parameters were in effect.

Contrary to this, I have several linkwheels now which were designed to dominate a small long-tail, and ended up randomly doing what you're trying to achieve here - dominating multiple keywords.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that you're talking about making 200 properties in wheels that you don't even know will rank or not. Why not make 3 or 4 wheels with 15 sites each, build backlinks to the properties, leave it a month, and see where you stand then. Who knows - this alone might be enough to do the job you're talking about if you're very lucky.

As for your main question, it all depends on your product. Do you really need to get people to your money site to make the cash, or could you get an affiliate link on your properties themselves? This is how I make money - affiliate links on web 2.0 properties.

However, if your product requires a big long sales pitch that would get removed from the web 2.0 networks, you might be better off using usfreeads or subpages on your own domain. However, it can be difficult to get your own domain to rank with a linkwheel - in my experience, at any rate.

Yeah, luckily they were devoid of Web 2.0 sites and everything that even showed up with parenthesis was pretty irrelevant. Nothing even exact matched the keyword for the listings title for the most part.

The product I'm trying to sell is actually my own product that pre-sells them on the first page and allows them to sign up on the second page. The pre-sell is really important as it explains the product.

So are you saying that pages on my website, ie; product.com/keyword1(center of 6 spoke linkwheel 1), product.com/keyword2(center of 6 spoke linkwheel 2) up through 20 should instead be blogger.com/keyword1(center of 6 spoke linkwheel 1) which in turn points to my website.

I mean either way they'll have to go through two sites before they arrive at my front page(the pre-sell) then they'll click to the sign up page(the lead).

First being one of the spokes on the linkwheel(unless they get directly to the center), second being the center(unless it was ranked above the web 2.0 properties), third being my pre-sell on my website, and fourth being the sign-up on my website.

So should that second step they go through be a web 2.0 property or a page on my site... I mean technically I don't think they're is much of a difference except for the fact that I have a lot of control over the look if the linkwheel center (aka product.com/keyword1) and can maybe even put the presell on that page as an image above the text.

But if my page is harder to get ranked than for instance having a blogger.com or some website as the center, we'll then I'll do that instead.

OR MAYBE I should just have a bunch of linkwheels all tailored towards different keywords (again 20 6-spoke ones or however many) but their all linked directly to my pre-sell meaning my presell won't get ranked for that keyword, but the web 2.0 properties most likely will. SO WHAT THE FUCK ARE MY SUPPOSED TO DO!
