    So I manually (fiver gigs) translated my main content (english) in few different languages and added single pages to it:

    the structure is like that:
    Download -> Spanish - German - French - etc.

    My questions:

    how can I rank the different pages?
    Do I have to build tier 1 links to, for example : mywebsite.com/french ? or directly to the main page and they all will get ranked?
    also what language should I use for the tier 1 backlinks? do they have to be in the language too or doesn't the language matter?

    the english content (main page) is already ranked on google.

    Link building for multi lingual sites is a totally different beast.

    yes you have to build links for each language. if you are going to the effort of translating your content by having someone re-write it you should build relative links for those languages.

    google sees each page separately. and that proof can be seen on any multi lingual site as their is a different PA on multilingual pages.

    big project mate. good luck!

    You have to build links for every page you need to rank, you will have to build links to example.com/french and example.com/Spanish .....

    As Irdeto said, Google treat every page separately, but if you have high DA, it will help the internal page

    **DA (Domain Authority)

    Yep, focus on getting good related links to your root domain. Then you just need to get a few links from language/country sites to your foreign language pages. The strength of your DA will do the heavy lifting.
