    Hi,

I use geolocated proxies for my rankings, but I just finished a test to see how the GL parameter works, instead of using proxies. A little info:

I have set a project in Rank Tracker (SEO Powersuite) and added UK and Spain proxies. I did 2 different checks:

    1. Google.co.uk using UK proxies (no GL parameter, no de-personalization)
    2. Google.co.uk using Spain proxies and the GL parameter set to UK.

In both cases, results were exactly the same (10 keywords checked). I guess I need to do further testing, but I'd like to know your thoughts on this issue. If I find proxies don't matter as long as you use the GL parameter, I will buy proxies for another country, since spanish proxies are more expensive.

    Thanks!
