I know that Articles 250-500 words get higher CTR, but which articles get higher position in SERPS? 250 words? 500 words? 750 words? More content = higher serps, right?

I don't think articles alone will rank you high in Google. I was wondering if more content gives you more trust in Google's eyes and therefore lets you spam more backlinks. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

I'm asking which articles get the higher position in the SERPS. This has nothing to do with the sites they're linking to. Just articles only.

Example: Which article ranks higher in G00gle?

    Article with 250 words? or
    Article with 750 words?

I'd say 500+ words so you can fit enough keyword density in it!

Also a lot of good directories won't take any less then 500+ words.

But yeah don't go to large as you stated the higher you go the less your CTR will become,

This is just my personal opinion ;)
