    So..

I have never done much with Youtube..nothing really.

I am in the process of black hatting for good by trying to rank properties to educate people on the candidates for my towns mayor's race.

It is a small town so the keyword really isn't all that tough.

I just established a brand new Youtube account and uploaded a video to it. Is it safe to pound 100,000 blog comments to it? I don't imagine Google de indexes properties they own but ya never know with those clowns.

    What say ye?

Also.. anyone have an opinion on the black hat world Trackback field? Should I be putting my urls in that field?

one day after being posted the video was on the 2nd page without one single backlink to it.. Gotta love Google loving their own properties.

Im gonna pound 100k blog comments to it and see what happens.

Its ranking in the middle of the page for the keyword searches I targeted.

I know some likes and some keyword rich comments on it would probably help right? Any free tools out there to get those?

I assume you mean the middle of page 1?

Did you end up blasting the 100k comments? I'm curious as to whether your video will be removed from youtube the way squidoo and other web 2.0 properties ban pages when massive amounts of backlinks are sent all at one. I hope not, cuz that would make life very easy for us all.

As for tools to get commenting, etc, all of the research I have done on the various forums (I haven't tested this myself) indicates that using these comment/like type programs eventually lead to suspension of the youtube account. So my thoughts are to tread lightly here.

I have found that (depending of the type of video of course) that you can actually get comments from the users of the video which IMO is important to remain as natural looking as possible if you are at all interested in the long term stability of the video.

I just want to put up a half dozen keyword rich comments.. Is there even a youtube accounts creator?

Creating a half dozen youtube accounts is something I don't wish to do.. I blasted out to my 250k AA list with the url of the video as the target website and yahoo has picked up 600 or so of them so far and no ban hammer yet. I would love to make this video number one for my desired keyword. Anyone wanna help me out here? pm me if you don't mind making a keyword rich comment on this video for me. I`ll even pm you the comment you should make with the url.

If you hate fat rich people who have never worked a day in their lives going into politics here is your chance to strike back at the empire of giant fat rich fucks pulling at the puppet strings of the world..

    How was that inspirational?

You can also drive a lot of PR internally in Youtube by subscribing to other people's channels and friending them. You get a hard link from the other people's channel pages / friends pages / subscriber pages when you do that. Channel popularity also seems to have some effect on the internal Youtube search rankings.

is Ogilvey the "oh crud " kid that is always fighting?

Should I seek out popular users with lots of views and friend/subscribe to them or go for other users who are related to my niche? Thanks Autumn.

I would go for medium popularity users and preferably in your niche. The main objective is to drive straight PR (regardless of niche) but if you get added on channels that are related to your niche then you will get targeted clicks to you channel from users on those related channels.

If you go for super popular channels then you will quickly get bumped off the front page of the channel (in the subscriber or friends box) and down on to the subscribers and friends subpages, which obviously don't have as much link juice. I would recommend targeting people with a few dozen to a few hundred friends and subscribers - you want enough juice to their profiles that you'll get a tangible boost to your own, but not so much volume that you'll get bumped off their first page too quickly.

However, you may as well just blast them out (within reason) - there's not really any disadvantage. Be aware that too many friends requests especially can get you banned so take it slow at first.

I would recommend removing the friends and subscribers boxes from your own channel so you're not leaking that PR from your own page unnecessarily.
