Hey guys. So im wanting to boost videos to get people interested to sub and check back for my videos regular. My channel is about a game. Popular videos from other youtubers are "Game Name" Facts. Which are always videos that no one would search for, but because they have big sub bases, get awesome views, lots of comments and very positive feedback. My goal is to help build my audience. I currently have about 450 subs, which i appreciate is nothing in the grand scheme of things. I have some really great videos up (I produce all the content myself, and even feature in my own videos) so its not just "download someone else video and hope i dont get banned". I want to build a big following, so my content gets better views. As im not particularly looking to rank for a specific keyword, what would my best strategy be here? I hope my query makes sense. This board is a lot more supportive and active than the YT board, which is why ive posted here. Would retention views (I hear big buddys are the best) be worth getting, should i set my videos up in a GSA campaign and build links to them? I currently post them on a few niche forums, post on reddit, message users who comment people on competitor's videos (time consuming, and i only get a very small amount of new subs. The time isn't really worth the pay off, but i still do it) I write decent descriptions and whilst im not targeting a specific keyword, i use the adword planner tool to get keywords and put them in my tags & descriptions. I also like and comment with about 10 alt youtube accounts. What else should/could i do? Im not looking for a quick money making scheme, im simply looking to build a big youtube following. I know this is still hard, but i thought you guys would be the best to offer advice and help.
