    Hey guys

    total noob question alert!!

Whats the chances of ranking 5 keywords with the following "exact" global monthly searches: 825,000 - 50,000 - 300,000 - 40,000 - 165,000?? All from the same site, and keywords are related to the same niche/have the same word in the phrase.

My domain name is about 4 years old, no PR as of yet (no link building started yet) It does have part of the keyword in it though!

So is it possible to rank in the top 10 within a year with a shit load of backlinks, linkwheels etc etc?

What else would I have to do to get the site ranking? The site will be updated daily but I dont want to keyword stuff the site with too much on-page seo.

    thanks in advance

Check your seo competition on market samurai for your keywords then you will know how competitive your keywords are.
And start your link building now as there is now way to outrank all sites with only on page optimization for competitive kewords. Put unique quality content on regular basis this is the key to rank on 1.

I mean yeah it's possible... The people who are #1 got there somehow right?

But you haven't really given us much information to go off of so you're probably not going to get accurate answers.

One year is a long time though so I could see you getting on the first page or second no doubt... Just #1 might be a little difficult

You could do it, I rank one site with similar numbers and I ain't no guru. I've got top 5's with the following exacts 1220000, 18100, 135000, 110000, 18100.
When I started I didn't know much about seo today, being out of the game since about 2001, and it took me maybe 18 months to go from nothing to where I am today - which is a pretty comfortable cruisy existence.

I will suggest you, search medium competition keyword, if you go with same 5 keyword means 825,000 - 50,000 - 300,000 - 40,000 - 165,000, Yes it?s possible to rank top 10, firstly you make excel sheet and research top 20 results means keyword, title and desecration then make your own meta data. 2nd step check top 10 results backlinks and anchor text then converted own site backlink that?s fastest way of increasing rank.

It is possible, as long as you keep doing good and consistent SEO...
