I have a client who wants to rank a Gentlemen's club.

Has anyone any experience in this area?

I was planning on using youtube to stream traffic but unsure about how stringent their policies are for videos of this nature.

You shouldn't have any problems if they are clothed/censored.

Check out vipstrippers example (I know of him because he's a regular fan contributor to Patriots podcasts I follow)

If you look at the above video, 1,7k views (natural, non inflated like the stat chasing losers in this forum)

As you can see, this is working as a conversion mechanism for Meni. They're a Boston based business and getting targetted traffic from related videos and searches.

If you have absolutely no idea about the business, then research how some people do it successfully and identify what would work for your client and not work.

As long as it's clearly labeled as an adult oriented site, it should be fine. It might get filtered out by people who have their browser settings to limit adult material, but if they are doing that in the first place they're probably not interested in visiting the site anyhow. If you've ever seen the guide Google puts out to its search engine quality evaluators, it only asks them to identify sites as adult, doesn't say anything about penalizing them for being adult oriented. With pay per click, they are more restrictive.
