    Hey guys

We have an ecommerce store and we send our items all over the world. With that in mind we have built a site in dutch, norwegian, french and german, we have suitable domains for each, and have set the sites up with cloudflare. The sites are mini sites detailing the services we offer and a handful of products.

Any suggestions as to how we might go about getting indexed and ranking on the relevant google, ie google.nl? Would we need to look specifically for links in dutch? Any ideas / suggestions greatly welcomed..

    Thanks

    Tony

Yeah, ideally the backlinks should be in the native language. Also, hosting the domains within the countries which speak those languages seems to help, as well as having localized domain names(.nl and so on).

How to get links? The same you do for English. I'd start by searching for competitors in the region and analyzing how they're getting their own links.

I have had very good success with building web 2.0 links with English content and ranking none English sites also for quite competitive keywords. Putting a none English word an anchor text works well but it can look a bit weird in the context. But just write something like "Here is a good site in German about keyword".

My tool Autofill Magic support several German (12) and French sites (6) and a few Dutch ones.

    • Site should be on country specific domain.
    • Set the target country appropriately on google webmaster tools.
    • Host the site on a server located in the country.
    • Get backlinks from site's with target country domain and language.
    • Site content should be written in country specific language.

    Hope this helps :)

Most large sites like YouTube or Twitter have different regional sections so sign in from the country you are wanting to
rank in and then post the URLs to those website with regional settings for that localized area.
