    Hi

keyword planner says 9900 (usa) searches per month and I am #1 for it. But I get only 20 to 40 visitors from that keyword daily

    while 9900/30 = 330 a day.

    So 30% of 330 equals about 100 a day.

I am getting only 20 to 40. On most days its about 20

That keyword is a buyer keyword btw.

So why ain't my site getting the traffic that it deserve

And my title and description is almost the same as other websites that are on page one. Still getting 20 too 30 visitors a day instead of atleast 80 or 100 for that keyword is weird

Whats your CTR? Are their snippets in the search results? Tons of ads? Local businesses? Need more info.

Check google dot com/ncr for your keyword, I think that's the way to check USA's Google, and use incognito window.

Are you logged in on your Google account? If so, that could be the reason. It may be showing a personalised result where your site is on top. Log out and clear cookies/caches and try again.

Is your site showing up as the snippet like shown in the image? If it is, maybe the reason why CTR is so low is because people just skim your content there but don't click through to your site.

May be People are not searching the term that much these days. Go to Google.com/trends and see the trend for last 3 months to get the idea.

You should check google webmasters and look at impressions and CTR for that term. If you're ranked 1 you should be getting an impression for every search on that KW. Seems like the term is only around 3K searches a month, which means your traffic is about right.
