I knew the RankChecker wasn't the most accurate tool, but it was within the reason, but I've checked my g results today and they are completely out. I have several sites on page one and today many of them completely disappeared - but only from RankChecker, so don't panic like I did :D

Is there any other similar tool that lets me check about 250 sites in one or two goes and not as complicated to set up as Market Samurai?

Actually you can use IBP. Working crack is here.
when you check rankings, if you logged on to google and if you +1 your web sites, then you will see your web sites in 1st page of google. If you clear cache/cookies and change the IP, then you can see the real rankings. But remember don't login to your google account, which is with +1 account.

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed with RT. According to it my site is #19 yet I appear on the first page with everyone I've checked it with.

I use some tool for rank checking yet I've always tried doing it manually on the said page the software said specially if its for a client. Software can always make mistakes and I can't blame a software if a client finds out my report is not accurate.

Better do it yourself if you want it to be done perfectly.

It depends when they checked your ranking. I have keywords bouncing in and out of the rankings on a daily basis. They go from top ten, to out of search engines for a day, this is on a ten year old domain. This is over 200 sites I notice this.

    I use Sescout.

Well, I do it myself and checking 250 sites manually is a bit too much :D

I just checked those that I was sure I was on top and they were "no show"...
I will check the suggestions, thank you.

IBP doesn't want to work on my xp 64bit...
