Hello!
I cant recommend english Backlinks for german rankings!
Ive bought alot of them and the SERPs havent moved much.
I think if the surrounding Text isnt german, then the Backlinks dont have a strong impact to the rankings.

Same here. I tried English backlinks but they just don't seem to work as good on German sites.
Correct me, you will use ENGLISH KEYWORDS for german backlinks or English keywords english backlinks?
If you use English keywords which means same in German like chiptuning/motortuning then its not a problem. For backlinks would suggest you to go with gutefrafe/foren/artikle and other german links. There are plenty of provider around.
Linking from english sites with english content and english keywords and achor texts like television / tv for my german site which should rank for "fernseher(german word for tv)"
i tried similar thing, was in Auto niche bought tons of english guestpost/blogpost for german site ( used german anchor) but not worked for me. You can try and let us know what happens.
