Hi Guys,

Background:
Just finished my university and I signed contract with one of the fortune 500 company, my job will commence from September. However, I have always wanted to start my own IM journey because I strongly believe it’s one of the best way to escape from the rat race and enjoy life. Every summer during my time in university I have always wanted to start IM journey but I always end up doing something else for those summer (e.g. internship, work, help to set-up restaurant etc..)

Now I am finally graduating and during my university, I did some part-time jobs and saved some cash for backpack world tour. By now most of my classmates are travelling all around the world before they start their first grad job because after we start working for first 3-4 years we will hardly have time for sleep let along time for travelling.

Anyway, long story short, I really don’t want to regret after I start my grad job that I didn’t start my IM journey and just wonder “What if…”. One year ago, I started one google AdSense journey but I pause it due to school work(I was a scholarship awardees, so no slacking) but now I am going all in for this two months and more (because there is always an excuse to quit or take U-turn). Hence, my first IM journey thread is born.

I been BHW member for a while, I usually lurk around and read IM journey. Then one day, one of the member really fired and motivated me up. I hope I can motivate someone else as well.

English is my 6[SUP]th[/SUP] language, so please don’t mind my poor English but good constructive criticisms are always welcome.

Resources:
1. Small amount of saving
2. Someone who will guide me (one of the BHW member)
3. Determination for success in IM
4. Time

My Journey and method:
1. Create 100 PBN
2. Use PBN to Rank
3. Bank! With (CPA)

Job done as at this post date:
1. Researched my keyword (Google trend, user base, life cycle of the keyword)
2. Learned how to use silo and siloed structured 11 PBN (one or two didn’t just to make it normal)
3. Learning and editing those PBN actually took longer time than I expected because I am not good or familiar with coding and editing php files. I custom edit all the PBN theme so they are different for every blogs.
4. But now I have my own sets of widgets, next 89 PBN will be faster with it. Thinking to mix it up with HTML and Joomla as well but I am bit afraid of learning curve again
I started this journey on 30/06/2015

Expenses as at this post date:
· 11 x Domains $110.36
· ScrapeBox $57
· Hosting $238.68
Total: $406.04

Earning as at the post date:
· Total: USD$ 0.00

Daily time allocation:
Originally planned to work every day 8-12 hours but it seems I can only be productive for 5-6 hours a day. Everyday I meditate, workout or swim which eat up some of my time. Hopefully, I can be more productive and efficient. Found out that even I allocate 18 hours a day at the end of the day I only get few things done (Parkinson's law).

Other personal matters:
I want to listen to some podcast, webcast and audio-books which I book marked long time ago. I think this will cause few hours of delay. Also volunteering as a cook and producer in a local Radio station. Hopefully it doesn’t take too much time.

That's a nice plan , but keep in mind that you don't have to spend that much on domains and hosting ( that money can be spent on high-quality content , premium themes and logos to make the sites look legit) , as about the domains imo you gotta use different registrars and apply coupons (godaddy is really , I mean really good for that) mix it with other registrars like namecheap etc , , as about the hosting you can even with stick 3-4 sites under 1 hosting package without leaving footprints at all , use a dedicated IP for one of the sites , cloudlflare and incapsula for the 1 or 2 other sites and maybe let the other site run on the servers IP (anyway if you don't wanna risk getting your pbn deindexed invest on dedicated IP's for each site) ,
there is a guy here : alexthepbndude , he has shared a really nice guide when it comes to building PBN's

here : http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...thing-about-how-i-build-manage-rank-pbns.html

Thanks

Thanks, mate.

Lets just say, I can communicate with 90% of Asian.

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for sharing the great thread. It was a good read. I agree with you too, hosting don't have to be that expensive. I just bought hosting for 3 years package, which I think is pretty good deal. For domain its pretty hard to find a $1 coupon :)

So true, I am thinking to mix up my sites as my PBN start to get big. As for now, I don't think I can afford to spend so much on graphics and theme for PBN, yet. I am thinking when this project start to get some $$, I will hire VA to manage PBN.

Thanks a lot. Lets hope for the best. Progress with this two month should able to bring some bacon home. If not I will still be happy boy.

UPDATES (11/07)
Personal matters:
This week I am not satisfied with my IM progress because most of my time I spent with IM none related stuff. I got called for University photoshot which will be used for promotion(2 days were used there). Then I did 3-4 hours of volunteering in NGO. Girlfriend started to get cranky -__-. Nonetheless, I still did my weekly workout, meditation and audio-book(while I travel).

I started this journey on 30/06/2015
5. Most of my time were spent on working on money site, I hand written the articles for money site. I did graphics, custom edited the layout. I looked at my competitor's website and tried my best to make it better than theirs. With my limited coding skills, I had to get creative and learn some new tricks. Took longer than I expected. (New)

Expenses as at this post date:
· Domains $110.36 (11 x domains)
· ScrapeBox $57
· Hosting $238.68 (3 years )
· Contentfoundry subscription $25 (1 month) (New)
Total: $431.04

Earning as at the post date:
· Total: USD$ 0.00

Coming week:
Start to post on PBN, I want each sites to have at least 5-7 articles. So on average, at least one article per day per site. So probably I need to write at east 77-80 articles. I am thinking to scrape the article, spin it, auto correct it, read it out loud with software and then manual correct it to, aiming to write readable article. I am not a good writer so I don't think I can write a good article but during my time in university I learned few tricks to engage reader.

Other personal matters:
These days, I am hearing and reading more about how google are tracking down PBN :(, Bit concerned I might be too late for the PBN ride. Supporting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ6WBTkt5_s

I am thinking to add google analytic in my money site so I can track where and how visitors are coming to my money site but bit afraid I will expose my moneysite and PBN to Google. Don't know how it works but just my thoughts :D

100 PBN.. This hell of a network for 100$/day ! If I were you, I would invest the time and content from those 100 PBN in my money site and create 5 PBN with some web 2.0 are more than enough to rank for 80% of the keywords on the internet

Good Luck

Don't waste your time spending 15 hours a day working by yourself :(
If you have money, outsourcing is the key.

Thanks and I hope it will help.

I get from my friend. He scrape lots of it. If you are looking to find some you can find some cool guide in the net :). It was once posted in here but quickly got deleted.

I agree with you too. 100 might over kill it. So Lets see how many PBN it will take to rank :). The competition of that keyword is not that strong so should be fairly easy.

Thanks and I hope it will help.

I partly agree with you on this. Yes, outsourcing saves lots of time but for me at the moment I need some practical experience, I don't mind if fail or succeed but I need to experience the whole journey and I believe outsourcing will cut some opportunity for me to experience them. E.g. Last week when I spent so much time fixing one easy problem, I was basically thinking through out the whole day and when I was in shower, I was like DUH!!!. I love that adrenaline rush ;)

Thanks mate!

6. This week I am happy with my workload and still keeping up my daily routine. I worked on PBN contents, so basically for the whole week I been eating, sneezing and shitting contents -____-". Oh such a painful process but I did enjoy and learned great deal of syntax :D, it was a win! (New)

I will slowly start to link some PBN to my money site and lets see if I get to 100 list :). and I will start to buy another 10 batch of domains and install themes.

Other matters:
Just occor to me when I update my PBN. Usually I would first set up the site and structure with dummy posts. So that I can set up menu with pages and categories and then I will come back then update those dummy posts with real content. Found out google still cached old dummy posts even when I update those posts with real content.

Wonder do I have to delete those dummy posts, like first post of WordPress "Hello World!" ? or can I just edit that post and update the real information on it.
