    Hi,
Can anyone please tell me why my site is not ranking anywhere in google UK or google Canada. My site ranks #1 for 22K exact searches in USA but it is no where in UK, Canada and other countries. I think 4-5 days it was ranking in other countries but now it is not because my traffic goes down from 450 unique visitors to 200 unique visitors.

Do I need to do anything specific to rank it in UK and other countries or keep on building links and writing articles on it.

    - Your IP is in US
    - You set the "Country to target" in your webmaster tool (if you have any) to US or default
    - You have a .com domain

    Those are probably why.

IP is in US - Yes "But my other site on different niche is ranking #1 in UK and other countries but #3 in US"
No, I don't install GA in any domain
I have .net site but that does not matter I guess because the other of my site ranking in UK and other countries have .net

    What about the backlinks?

    Are you targeting local keywords?

well i only like to build links that work for me everytime. But this time my site disappear from UK and other countries but it is still #1 in US.

I am planning to build some links using GSA specifically on UK domain site.
I also think to install GA and file re-considering request about it. What you people say about it?

Mention the country you'd like to rank somewhere on your website.

For examples, on "About" page add and address of the UK office.

I am serious. I used to have a site that ranked extremely well in Australia but not US.

It was on US IP, .com domain and no links from Australian domains and yet it ranked in Australia but not US.

The only thing I blame for this is "About" page that stated the blog was in Australia.

Try to get links from .co.uk and .ca sites.

Oh yea, also avoid those spammy profile backlinks to your sites, they seem to negatively effect site rankings.

@lover: Ya that will I am thinking to build some UK based site and I never use spammy backlinks to get ranked. Do you think Google still rank site with spammy backlinks? I have many sites that rank page 1 top 5 for good competition searches but the problem with this site is that the homepage disappear from google UK and CA but ranks in USA.

I am planning to add 1000 word article and start building links again.

Yeah. Get more links from .co.uk and .ca sites. That'll boost you up for sure. Profiles links don't always negatively affect your site rankings. It does if you blast 100,000 of them in one day, but a few here and there won't matter at all, especially if they are from respected websites. It's natural is what you're after, and natural includes all types of links. Just not 100,000 in one day!

You nailed it, am having this same problem site ranked on google.co.uk but not .com, even though site is hosted on US, after changing referencing that include Uk in content, I forgot to check the about us page, till last week I found that UK was mentioned in the about page. I was like SHIT, why did i miss that.

OP, check your content and reference the country you want to rank for, or go to your contact page, and add it there, or remove any country in every pages of your site, and you will see your self ranking in most countries
