Hello. It's been few days since I noticed this issue. I just let it there sit for a while hoping that google will update it and remove the other homepage with random text. When I check my site again today, google still shows random characters at the end of the URL.

    Example I searched for site:domain.com

    I get this results:

As you can see, the green part shows my website with correct details from title to description.

But the next result shows my domain with no https and with random character at the end .com

Can I remove it using webmaster tools? I have added the website in webmaster tools with https on it. I'm afraid if I request for removal, my whole website will be deindexed.

Can any help me please? Thanks!

Edit: Tried to request for removal and I get this message.

Could be a negative SEO attack. If you don't have canonical tags on every page then some one might be submitting duplicate content to google on your behalf by linking with bogus but functioning URLs.

If you delete the Hello world post that one should go away. Install iThemes Security plugin and disable directory browsing... should clean up the second one. If there are dozens or more like this then maybe it is a negative SEO attack of some sort.

Does the iTheme security plugin work great with Wordfence?

I am not sure. I am only familiar with the iThemes Security plugin... if wordfence has a similar feature I'd imagine it would be fine too so you might check if it is already there and not configured.

Someone linked to your domain with those parameters passed to it.

    Harmless...

If you remove that URL you'll kill your whole site.

If you're really paranoid you can 301 redirect to the root of the site if any such parameters are passed. But otherwise they don't do anything.

I wouldn't mess with it or you risk removing the whole site. Anyone is free to link to any site using any parameter, and google's smart enough to know to ignore it.
