I have 2 sticks of 32GB RAM. Whenever I hit around 32GB of usage, chrome tabs start crashing. I have no idea why. Does anyone have any ideas?

What are the clock speeds of those two rams? Are they in the correct slots (sometimes, position matters.. when you are not using all the slots. not kidding. Refer to the motherboard doc may be)?

Or may be, the software can’t use all the resources.. Could be a thing too.

don't know much about pc as i use mac but CC cleaner seem to work in boosting ram for me

Chrome's known to be embarrassingly bad at utilizing resources and managing process memory bloat IIRC. Are you getting similar issues with other browsers?

I did a lot of playing with ram. There are threads on the forum. Unfortunately i forget stuff.

But maybe try lowering the mhz the PC runs the ram with. You do that in the BIOS. If youre overclocking, maybe stop. Also position of the ram sticks, try switching them up.

Also, maybe one of the sticks is faulty? Try running the PC with one stick alone, and then with the other alone, see if maybe one of them has some issues.

But if the sticks are fine, i recommend lowering the mhz. If youre running 3200, make it 3000, or 2844 or whatever the options are, see if that helps.

Run hardware diagnostics / MS sys info to make sure one of the ram chips isn't faulty. How many slots does the motherboard have. Maybe the chips are not populated correctly.

Just chrome? Everything else runs fine? Have you run a memtest yet? I don't use windows a lot so not sure about the built-in memory diagnostic tool so I uss MemTest86.

This too. Some motherboards only support dual/quad channel memory and if you don't put the modules in the right slots they won't run in multi-channel mode. This can have some problems when doing lot of reads.

I think it's just a memory leak bug in chrome with a 32gig resource limit hard-coded somewhere.

Maybe post a cpu-z screenshot of your memory tab tho.

Using slots 2 and 4.

Motherboard is Asus TUF GAMING X570-PRO (WI-FI)

I haven't set it to 3200 yet since flashing the BIOS a few weeks ago but it was happening before as well.

Here's the screenshot:

I am having a similar issue. With 10GB remaining, Chrome acts as if there is 0KB free and crashes. Not sure if it is just Chrome related or system wide. Using all 4 slots with 8GB DIMMs. Never occured to me until now it could be a faulty stick. Will keep you updated if I find the solution on my end.

CTRL+F memtest

Wasn't disappointed!!!

Create a memtest usb boot stick

Let it rip all night, all its zig zag tests. Bet you one of the memory dimms is bricked

Do you have spare Ram sticks you can use as a test? As in, take the 32GB sticks out and replace them to see if it’s still happening.

What version of chrome do you have installed, 32 or 64?

As suggested above, running Memtest for awhile is the first step you should probably take.
