Hey Guys, My company is undergoing significant changes, and as a result I'll be out of a job by early September. Not a problem, this is what happens to skilled but uneducated workers, and this is why people save up money. The down low is that I'm gonna start a little journey. Anyways, I hate it when people start these journeys, but don't say what constraints they are working in, it makes it hard to apply to me personally. So, to anyone here from the future, here are my constraints: Work 40 hours a week, standard 9 to 5 office drone job. Can only dedicate 3 to 6 hours a workday to IM. Can spend roughly 2 hours studying/reading up on my route to IM while working. Starting with a rough bank of $2000. No significant fiscal responsibilities, beyond rent, car, and food. (Not taking care of little ones, for instance.) I've spent the last 4 years doing various SEO/IM as a hobby and for beer money, but this will be a serious attempt to start a career. (http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/making-money-online-it-all-starts-with-you-not-methods-not-google-you.766510/) Despite leaving the workforce in early September, I won't need to live off the income from IM until about December, I've already begun significant budgeting to insure I have as long as possible before relying off of this. Failing to earn the requisite amount I need, I can easily get a part time job at $16/hr. In order to stay with my lifestyle that I had just previous to my new budgeting, I need to make $80/day (stay frugal friends). Every weekend, a buddy and I spend a few hours working on websites, as a hobby. Some people play video games, we get drunk and make (shitty) websites. Go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So, goals, in order: 1) Make a consistent $80/day by December 2016. 2) Diversify, spread eggs around, link up various social media accounts to affiliate websites. This will likely take all of December and January. 3) Grow $/day by expanding social media presence. How am I going to do that? 1) Make a consistent $80/day by December 2016. a) Given the time crunch, I need to Churn a little. I'm making fiveTwitter accounts, 3 nsfw (the churn and burns) and 2 sfw in the niche I identified earlier. b) On the weekends, I will be making the website that correlates with the two sfw Twitter accounts. c) Using Tumblr and Reddit as a source, repost interesting things relating to the niches with each account. I spent last week figuring out how to do this by blogging content with a tag, which will then automatically put it onto my Twitter account, flagging me if I need to reduce character count. Automation ftw. c.1.) Actually engage in my followers. Only 5 accounts, not that hard. d) Use followliker to follow/unfollow nsfw Twitter accounts. Manually do it on sfw Twitter accounts. (Proxies and all that being used on a 1:1 scale). d.1) This should acquire real Twitter followers, whom I will engage with. All things going well, by end of October I should have 10,000 combined real followers through my sfw Twitter accounts. It's likely I will lose some churn accounts, and they will likely be inflated anyways due to higher follow/unfollow counts. e) Start small affiliate advertising. I'm not 100% certain how much the nsfw accounts will bring in, but I'm not expecting much. I think most people in nsfw will recognize what is happening. The sfw accounts should go much better, since those Twitter accounts have a targeted, buying, audience. f) Continue posting, and adding in an affiliate link every once in a while. 2) Diversify, spread eggs around, link up sfwsocial media accounts to affiliate websites. This will likely take all of December and January. a) Continue on with nsfw Twitter accounts until they get da ban. Will likely go full bot mode with these. b) Make two Instagram/Pintrest accounts, make a flicker for one sfw Twitter account, link up these with their related amazon-affiliate website. c) Using the same Tumblr-to-Twitter automation, post to IG/P/Fl. d) Ensure website is up and running correctly. Ideally, find a way to automate Amazon-to-Website postings. Likely won't happen, but that's fine. 3) Grow $/day by expanding social media presence. a) Grow another Twitter account. Expand current sfw accounts by continuing to do the same thing. If it doesn't work, try other things. b) Eventually diversify the affiliate websites to include more than just Amazon-affiliate(ness). The rationale is that it's fine putting a not-destructive amount of eggs into one basket for a short time, but to keep them there would be foolish. What I've done so far: Prior to start of journey: figured out how to automate Tumblr-to-Twitter. made 2/5 Twitter accounts. have the theme/style/personality of one affiliate-website already made. Anyways, I just thought I would start this journey, and give y'all a weekly Monday update. I wanted to be somewhat thorough in my plan so that if there is some serious error, people can correct me. I also wanted to set up the Journey correctly so that way when I'm making my goal, I can be a positive influence on any new peoples. At the moment, I'm a little bit worried that I don't have enough churn and burn Twitter accounts, but I really don't want to pay for a high number of proxies. Any tips and encouragements are welcome!
